Historic Fincastle Inc. announced on July 11 that its board of directors has decided to cancel the 2020 Historic Fincastle Festival.
“As much as we were all looking forward to one of our most beloved town and regional traditions, given current health issues and safety measures and guidelines in our state, we did not feel that holding such a large event would be feasible at this time,” the organization said. “Please join us as we look ahead to September 2021 as we begin planning for next year’s festival. We apologize for any disappointment this year’s cancellation has caused.”
It was also announced that the 2020 Holiday Home Tour with Marketplace in December and the Holiday Open House for Historic Fincastle Inc. members and friends have been canceled.
The festival was scheduled to take place on September 19 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
