A Botetourt grand jury returned indictments against 37 individuals when it met October 1 in Fincastle.
Charges were certified against 26 individuals and 11 had direct indictments returned against them. The direct indictments included a charge solicitation for murder on July 31 against Christopher Michael McGee of Vacherie, La.
He was also indicted on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of Schedule I/II drugs, grand larceny and possession of marijuana, all from a July 17 incident.
Twenty-four of the individuals have drug charges against them.
