The second annual 9/11 Memorial Walk will begin at the Buchanan Fire Department on September 11 at 8 a.m.

Opening remarks will be made at 8:20 a.m., which will include a prayer by the chaplain.

“Join us to remember the 343 firefighters, 60 law enforcement, and eight paramedics killed on 9/11. The walk starts promptly at 8:46 a.m., with moments of silence along the way to remember the Pentagon, Flight 93 and when the first tower fell. The walk will end when the second tower fell at 10:28 a.m.,” event organizers said.
