Botetourt County Public Schools (BCPS) recently announced its Employees of the Month for November during the School Board’s regular monthly meeting last Thursday night in Fincastle.

The board recognized Brandi Mitchell, an instructional assistant at Greenfield Elementary School, and Tara Parrish, a fourth grade teacher at Breckinridge Elementary, each receiving certificates of recognition from the School Board.

“Brandi is so dependable and hardworking,” Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Russ read from the submitted nominations. “She loves each student, works hard to help them succeed, and is so positive and thoughtful… (Tara) is a positive leader at (Breckinridge) and always pulls her weight while helping others.”
