The James River girls will be on the road tonight to take on Radford High in a Three Rivers District basketball game.
The Knights lost for the first time in the Three Rivers when they fell to Alleghany on the road last week, 62-54. River bounced back with a win at home over Carroll County last Thursday, 39-21. River led 12-2 after one period and 28-6 at the half against Carroll, who has won just one game all season.
The Knights are now 15-2 overall and they’ll get another shot at Alleghany when the Cougars come to Springwood February 14. After tonight’s game at Radford, the Knights are home to Patrick County on Friday followed by a home game with Glenvar next Tuesday, February 11.
