The Lord Botetourt softball team will have a rematch with Pulaski County today after dropping a heartbreaker to the Cougars in Dublin last week. Today’s game will be played in Daleville.
Last Thursday the Cavaliers had a 4-0 lead into the home fifth but the Cougars scored one run in the fifth, then put seven on the board in the bottom of the sixth to pull out a win. The loss dropped LB to 3-3 on the season.
The girls were rained out of Friday’s game with Staunton River and were scheduled to play at William Byrd on Tuesday of this week. Botetourt will have their third game in as many days on Thursday when the Cavaliers host William Fleming.
