The James River baseball team will return to the diamond this week after being off for eight days. The Knights will play two Patrick teams, hosting Patrick County on Tuesday in a Three Rivers District game and playing at Class 5 Patrick Henry in Roanoke Thursday.
River comes into the week with a 4-3 overall record. They’re still looking for their first Three Rivers District win after two games.
Next week the Knights have a game at Floyd County on Tuesday, at Waynesboro Thursday and home against Alleghany on Friday, May 2.
