VFW Post 1841 will host its annual Field of Honor display from May 1 through May 31, turning the post’s lawn on Roanoke Road, Daleville, into a powerful tribute to military service members. The month-long event honors those currently serving, veterans, and those who have passed on.

The Field of Honor consists of American flags sponsored by community members to recognize friends, family, and neighbors who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Each flag serves as a visible symbol of gratitude and remembrance.

Community members are encouraged to support the display by making a donation of any amount. Donations will be used by Post 1841 to support local veterans and their families. In return, a flag will be posted in honor or memory of a designated service member.

Those interested in contributing can visit www.VFW1841.org and follow the Field of Honor donation link.

VFW Post 1841 invites everyone in the community to take part in recognizing and remembering the sacrifices made by the nation’s service members throughout the month of May.
