The Lord Botetourt girls went 2-1 on the pitch last week to improve to 5-6-2 overall and 3-1-2 in Blue Ridge District soccer games.
The Cavs opened a busy week with a 3-0 loss to Staunton River, but bounced back on Wednesday to beat Christiansburg in Daleville, 3-1. Bria Harvey, Lily Mosley and Katherine Woodward scored for LB, while Mosley had two assists and Kendall Nixon had one.
On Friday at home the girls pulled out a 2-1 win over Staunton River. Wren Duckworth assisted Harvey on LB’s first goal and Mosley scored the second with an assist to Woodward.
The Cavaliers were looking to even their overall record on Tuesday when they played William Byrd in Vinton but results were too late for publication. On Friday they’ll host William Fleming.
