The Lord Botetourt track team was among over 21 team competing in the Blue Demon Invitational at Christiansburg High School last Saturday and the Cavaliers had some strong performances in the event.
In the boys competition, Eric Duncan was second in the 1600 and Caleb Miller was runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles and fourth in the 300 hurdles. The Cavalier 4×800 relay team took third while Triston Graves was seventh in the 100-meter dash.
For the girls, Abby Perkey was fourth in the shot put and Jillian Harris finished seventh in the 100 hurdles. The LB 4×100 relay team was sixth.
The Cavaliers are scheduled to compete in the Blue Ridge District track meet today at Northside, beginning at 4 p.m.
