There are many ways to commemorate Memorial Day. Daleville Boy Scout Troop 211, in partnership with the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Botetourt County Chapter, placed over 160 flags on veterans’ graves in Godwin Cemetery in Fincastle, an annual project. The flags and holders are donations from DAR members, Woodmen Life, Botetourt VFW Post 1841 and Elbit Systems of America. The troop is preparing for summer activities and adventures.
