
Attic Productions is presenting the classic Tony award winning musical “Guys and Dolls”,with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Set in 1950’s New York, the story follows gamblers, showgirls and missionaries with romance and humor. Frank Loesser’s score, featuring favorite songs “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” offers a delightful journey through love, luck and redemption.
A large, talented, local cast has been working hard this summer to bring this production to life. Directed by James Honaker, along with musical director Joshua Lindvaldsen and choreographer Mandy Masching, the show will be presented at Attic’s D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center, 7490 Roanoke Road, Fincastle, July 24 – August 10. Thursday and Friday evening shows begin at 7:30, and Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30.
Adult tickets are $20, students 18 and under and groups of 10 or more are $15 when paid in cash or by check at the box office.
