Christopher Thomas Wooldridge, 50, of Troutville, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025.
He was predeceased by his mother, Kathy Wooldridge; grandparents, Wordie and Cathryn Wooldridge and George and Jane Ulrich; as well as many special pets including his companion, Kody.
Chris was employed with BWXT, previously Norfolk Southern and Berglund Chevrolet. Chris enjoyed fishing, kayaking, racing, hiking, hockey, and his beloved Washington Redskins.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Beth; father, Tom Wooldridge (Becky); sister, Erica Hibbs (Doug); and nephews, Ethan Deschambault and Mason Hibbs; father- and mother-in-law, Alvin and Brenda Guthrie; brother-in-law, Blake Guthrie (Amanda); beloved pets, Remi and Jack; aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at Oakey’s East Chapel with Pastor Chris Kingery officiating. Burial followed at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the United States Navy. The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, at Oakey’s East Chapel.
