The Botetourt 8U football team will take on Franklin County this Saturday for the Sandlot Super Bowl championship. Game time is 9 a.m. at Salem Stadium in Salem.
The Cavaliers defeated Glenvar in the semifinal round of the Super Bowl Tournament last Saturday at Bogle Stadium in Roanoke County. Botetourt took a 26-6 win, while Franklin County beat Hidden Valley in the other 8U semifinal, 16-8.
There will be three Sandlot Super Bowl championships at Salem Stadium this Saturday and one price is good for all three. At 11 a.m. Salem will play Cave Spring for the 10U championship and at 1 p.m. two Cave Spring teams will battle it out for the 12U championship.
