The recent death of James River legend John Shotwell didn’t cancel the annual golf trip he organized for his friends and former colleagues. The outing at Pinehurst went on as planned in Shotwell’s honor. “It was the family wish that we would still go in honor of John,” said James River golf coach Donna Cox. “We laughed, we cried, we prayed. We truly remembered our dear friend.”
