Rosenberger, Benjamin David

December 22, 2025
in Obituaries
0

Benjamin “Ben” David Rosenberger, 30, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

He was surrounded by his family up until the very end. He was the son of Walter and Sara Rosenberger. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Edwin Rosenberger, and his maternal grandfather, David Hacker, Jr.

Ben had a variety of passions including Virginia Tech Football, traveling, and photography, as well as a true love for the mountains. He was a generous soul and he had a special way of maintaining his relationships with others. He always made sure to stay connected to those he knew, whether family or friend, new or old, the people in his life mattered to him and he nurtured those relationships.

He will be missed and remembered by his parents, Walter and Sara (Hacker) Rosenberger; paternal grandmother, Erika Rosenberger; maternal grandmother, Mildred Hacker Davis and husband Jim Davis; siblings, Aaron and his wife Arianna, their son, August, Paul, and Anna; the Inabnit family: Beth and her husband William, their children, Will and his wife Lauren, and Matthew; the Hacker family: David Wade and his wife Faith, their children, Hannah, Jed and his wife Mattie and their children, Jeffrey and his wife Grace, Johnny, Asher, and Hallie; the Rosenberger family: Steven and his wife Pam, their children, Alex and his wife Makayla, Andrew and his fiancée Gabby; as well as his beloved family pet Winston.

To list all of Ben’s friends would not be possible, as they are too numerous to count. You know who you are and that you mattered to Ben.

Services to honor and celebrate Ben’s life were held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, with the Rev. Seth McCormick officiating. The family received friends from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment was private for family only. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.simpsonfuneral.com.
