Pierce also had the game winning hit in the bottom of the seventh as the Cavaliers scored a walk off win. Riley Morgan had two hits for LB.
The Cavaliers opened last Wednesday at Hidden Valley and dropped an 11-6 decision. Botetourt had 11 hits in the loss as Bailey Hutchins, Gracelynn Clark and Phoenix Humphries had two hits each. The Titans jumped out to an early lead and LB couldn’t catch up despite a late rally.
The Cavs are off this week and return to action next Tuesday with a game at Blacksburg High.
