Spaces available for April 11 yard sale at VFW Post 1841, golf tournament May 23

VFW Post and Auxiliary1841 are making spaces available for those who want to participate in a Community Yard Sale on April 11 at the VFW Hall on Roanoke Road, Daleville. The members are raising money to help local veterans.

All tables must be reserved and paid for in advance. Limited tables are available inside the building for $25 for a six-foot space. A picnic table under the pavilion is $15, and grass plots are $10 (no table provided, but you can bring your own).

Make checks payable to VFW Auxiliary and mail to VFW Post 1841, 4902 Roanoke Road, Daleville, 24083. For more information, call 540-966-4206.

 

VFW Post 1841 to host golf tournament May 23

VFW Lord Botetourt Post 1841 will host a community golf tournament on May 23, at Botetourt Golf Club.

The event is open to the public, with proceeds supporting local veterans and community programs. Participants and sponsors are encouraged to register in advance.
