The Botetourt County Chorus will perform two concerts this month, titled “Songs from the Front Porch and Beyond.” The first is Sunday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at Troutville Baptist Church, 5520 Lee Highway, Troutville, and again April 26 at 3 p.m. at Buchanan Baptist, 19730 Main Street Buchanan.
The program will feature old folk music, gospel and a selection of hymns. Also, expect a surprise or two. The chorus is under the direction of Stephen Harris and the accompanist is Lillian Cook. The concerts are free, but donations to help offset chorus expenses will be accepted during the concerts.
