PUBLIC HEARINGS TOWN OF BUCHANAN, VA

The Town of Buchanan will be holding three public hearings on Monday, May 11,
at 7:00 PM in Town Hall (19753 Main Street). The first hearing is a joint public
hearing between the Planning Commission and Town Council for a proposed zon
ing text amendment to allow restaurants in the Trade District, the second is a joint
public hearing between the Planning Commission and Town Council to amend Sec
tions 22-126 and 22-127 of the Town Code to allow for water and sewer rate adjust
ments by virtue of an adopted resolution, and the third is a regular public hearing
for the proposed FY 2026-2027 operating budget (outlined below) and capital im
provement plan (CIP).
