Friends of the Blue Ridge Library will be holding a book sale May 14-16. The sale begins on Thursday, May 14, from 5-8 p.m. The sale continues Friday, May 15, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. A large variety of books will be for sale. Hardcover books are priced at $1 each and paperback books are 50 cents each. Saturday is Bag Day to purchase a bag of books for only $3.
Proceeds from the book sale help the Friends to support library programs such as the annual Summer Learning Challenge or to purchase materials that the library needs, especially those not covered in the annual operating budget.
