The Persinger Family Journal (1907-1912): Botetourt Life in the Early 1900s

Learn about the life of Mary Margaret Persinger and her family through her journal from 1907–1912. The journal, written in a memoir style, offers insight into life in Botetourt County during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Presented by Victoria Persinger Ferguson, a Virginia historian and archeologist at Virginia Tech who is also a direct descendant of the Persingers and an enrolled citizen of the Monacan Indian Nation of Virginia.
