More than 300 seniors from James River High School and Lord Botetourt High School received their diplomas during graduation ceremonies held last Monday and Tuesday for Botetourt County Public Schools.
James River High School held its commencement ceremony at the school’s football stadium in Springwood last Tuesday, where graduates crossed the stage in front of family members, friends, faculty members, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the Class of 2026.
Lord Botetourt High School conducted its graduation ceremony at the Salem Civic Center last Monday evening, continuing a longstanding tradition for the school’s commencement exercises.
The ceremonies marked the culmination of the students’ high school careers and recognized the accomplishments of graduates as they prepare to pursue college, military service, workforce opportunities, and other future endeavors.
School officials, teachers, administrators, and family members gathered at both events to honor the graduates and commemorate the conclusion of the academic year.
