In-Person Early Voting Begins: Friday, Septem
ber 18, 2026
Ends: Saturday, October 31, 2026
@ 5pm. All qualified, registered voters are eligi
ble to vote early during this time
Location: Department of Elections & Voter Reg
istration Office, 2 East Main Street, Fincastle (cor
ner of Roanoke & Main Streets)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Saturday & Sunday Hours:
Sunday, October 18, 2026 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday, October 24 2026 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Sunday, October 25, 2026 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday, October 31, 2026 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
(Final day of early voting)
Deadline to register or update registration:
Friday, October 23, 2026
5:00 pm for in-person registrations;
11:59 pm for online registrations
Deadline to request a Vote By Mail ballot:
Friday, October 23, 2026 at 5:00 pm
NOTE: Vote By Mail ballot is the same ballot
used for Early Voting and at polling locations on
Election Day. If you receive a Vote By Mail ballot
and wish to vote in-person during Early Voting or
on Election Day, you must bring the Vote By Mail
package to surrender.
Vote By Mail Drop Locations:
• Department of Elections & Voter Registration
Office, 2 East Main Street, Fincastle (corner of
Roanoke & Main Streets)
Dropbox slot for marked Vote By Mail ballots lo
cated in vestibule of office entrance
• Voters may personally deliver their marked bal
lot to the Department of Elections & Voter Reg
istration Office during regular business hours.
(Hand-delivered ballots can only be accepted
from voter ballot issued to. All others must go in
drop box or need to be mailed.)
• All polling locations on Election Day, Tuesday,
November 3, 2026, from 6:00 am – 7:00 pm

• US Senate (6-year term)
• US House of Representatives (2-year term)
Local Offices:
• Town of Buchanan — Town Council – 2 seats
(4-year term)
• Town of Fincastle — Mayor (4-year term)
• Town of Fincastle — Town Council –
3 seats (4-year term)
• Town of Troutville — Mayor (2-year term)
• Town of Troutville — Town Council – 3 seats
(2-year term)
Special Election:
• Clerk of Circuit Court — Unexpired term end
