Fincastle resident Don Woodard has published a new book, “Your Relationship with You,” focusing on personal growth, faith and developing a stronger relationship with God.
According to the book’s description, Woodard explores the idea that an individual’s relationship with himself or herself is an important foundation for relationships with family, friends and coworkers.
The book draws on Scripture and practical biblical applications to examine topics including identity, attitudes, emotions and spiritual growth. Woodard encourages readers to develop a biblical understanding of themselves while addressing fear, discouragement and destructive thinking.
The book also focuses on developing healthy spiritual disciplines and finding greater joy, purpose and peace through a stronger relationship with God.
According to the publisher’s description, “Your Relationship with You” is intended for readers seeking spiritual renewal, personal growth or encouragement and emphasizes the believer’s identity in Christ rather than self-esteem based solely on personal achievement.
