The James River and Lord Botetourt swim teams will be competing in conference meets this week as the post-season swim season begins.

River will be in action tonight, Wednesday, for the Conference 38 meet at Hargrave. The meet will include River, Glenvar and Martinsville from Conference 38, and Radford will also be involved since they’re the only team in Conference 45 with a team.

River swam Brookville and Heritage at Heritage last Friday. The boys were second to Brookville and the girls were third, with Brookville also winning that meet.

Lord Botetourt will swim in the Conference 31 meet Friday at the Salem YMCA, beginning at 6 p.m.
