Botetourt County 4-H is excited to offer a new community club program for youth that are interested in wildlife, habitat education, hunting, and/or outdoor skills
. This comprehensive Outdoor Skills curriculum truly has something for everyone as youth will learn leadership skills, positive life choices, and character education all while increasing their knowledge of the outdoors.
Interested youth and parents are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m., at the Fincastle Fire House. This meeting will provide more information on 4-H membership, the Outdoor Skills curriculum, and the planned activities for this club. Youth and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet the certified instructors who will be leading this club and its programs.
The Botetourt County 4-H Outdoor Skills Club is available to youth ages 9-18 (birthdate as of September 30, 2017).
