The Bank of Fincastle Marketing Director Cindy Bailey (left) presented Crystal Melius, principal and head teacher for Roanoke Adventist Preparatory School, with a contribution in support of the school’s educational programs as part of the bank’s Healthy Living Initiative. The bank started the initiative in 2016 and will present contributions each month to groups who focus on feeding those in need, healthy eating, exercise or education throughout 2017. In December, The Roanoke Adventist Preparatory School received a contribution from the bank in support of their emphasis on education and healthy eating. In addition, the school and the bank teamed up to provide fresh fruit to customers during the bank’s holiday customer appreciation in December. The school’s primary fundraiser is the sale of fresh Florida fruit. To find out how to help the school by ordering fruit, visit the website at rapschool.org. The bank invites you to nominate a group or charity by emailing the group’s mission to ahealthierbank@bankoffincastle.com.
