The Buchanan Town Improvement Society is selling homemade coconut cakes for Easter.

The cake is baked in layers, iced with fresh coconut icing, and stacked like Grandma used to make. Two sizes of cakes are available.

A smaller, 6-inch cake is available for $15 and an 8-inch cake is available for $25.

To place an order, contact Marilyn McMunigal before Friday, April 1, at 254-1525 or orders and payment can be mailed to 440 Ezra Drive, Buchanan, 24066.

Cakes may be picked up at the Wilson Warehouse/Community House on Friday, April 14 from 3-5 p.m. Mailed orders should include cake size, name, address, phone and email.

All proceeds go toward maintenance of the historic Wilson Warehouse/Community House.
