The Fincastle High School Class of 1954 held its 63-year class reunion on Saturday, July 8, at Jersey Lily’s on Rt. 419, Salem. The class had 30 graduates and there were 12 grads present. Eleven are deceased and nine were unable to attend. Afterward, Ron and Martha Anne Bensinger invited all to their home for dessert and to share memories and good times. Those in attendance were: back, Marie Hodges, Paul Craghead, Peter Adamson, Phyllis Lugar Scott, Glenn Rieley, Alice Johnson Sweeney, June Moses Wood, Billie Moses, Nancy Potter Adamson and Julia Harris; next row down, Ron Bensinger, Martha Tate Bensinger, Dean Harris, Norma Crowder Johnson and Betty W. Huffman; then, Ralph Sweeney and Alice Jones Crowder.
