The Bank of Botetourt has once again agreed to sponsor the DSLCC Educational Foundation’s fundraiser, “Bubbles, Bands & Brunch—Passport to Paris,” which will be held Sunday, Sept. 10 at 12:30 p.m. in the Moomaw Center on the Clifton Forge campus. According to the Educational Foundation Director Rachael Thompson, this year’s party will take you to Paris for the afternoon – showcasing the familiar sights and sounds of the “City of Light.” Catering will be provided by Schaal’s Catering and Events of Fincastle and feature something for every palate – with a French inspired menu. A strolling violinist and accordion player will help set the scene, and a caricature artist will be on hand for guests’ enjoyment. In addition, a silent auction will occur, featuring more than a dozen items. Seating is limited, and, tickets requests will be accepted as along as seats remain available. Call 863-2837 or email Thompson at rthompson@dslcc.edu for more information.
