The Botetourt County Republican Women’s Club will be partnering with the National Federation of Republican Women to help with flood recovery in Texas. Members ask the public to help them help those in need by dropping off gift cards to Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Walmart at the Fincastle Library or Blue Ridge Library. Cards will be accepted now through the month of October. These cards will be collected and sent to the Texas Federation of Republican Women to take to distribution centers throughout the affected areas.
Cards may also be brought to the October 3 meeting at the Fincastle Library in the Community Room or drop them off at the club’s table at the Mountain Magic Festival in Buchanan, or at the Republican Ham Dinner at St Mark’s Methodist Church on October 14.
