The Botetourt Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) again provided frozen Thanksgiving turkeys to four food pantries in Botetourt. The Longbeards were able to divide 400 turkeys between Botetourt Food Pantry in Fincastle, Buchanan Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) Food Pantry in Buchanan Troutville Baptist Church Food Pantry in Troutville and Springwood Baptist Church Food Pantry in Springwood. Here, Longbeards members Billy Booze, Jimmy Wilhelm and Richard Pauley deliver turkeys last Wednesday to Martha Rodgers, co-director of the Botetourt Food Pantry.
