Mayor Mary Bess Smith will serve as Parade Marshal. She also is a former Town Council member and volunteer who has helped with the annual Halloween Parade, Keep Fincastle Lit and other activities. A variety of homemade floats will be judged on originality, theme, beauty and effort, with the winners earning cash prizes.
The parade will include marching bands and other marching units, horses and, of course, Santa Claus.
