Eddie Mac Coleman, 93, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019, after a lengthy period of poor health.
Eddie was retired from James River Limestone and enjoyed many years of trout fishing until he was no longer physically able.
He was the second oldest of six siblings whom he outlived: Dorothy Painter, Rosa Ramsey, Ruby Lawson, Gene Coleman, and James Coleman.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Broughman Coleman; son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Sharon Coleman; granddaughter, Amy Coleman; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 24, with services at 3 p.m. in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Due to inclement weather, burial will be held privately at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Buchanan Rescue Squad.
