The Sixth Annual Roanoke Valley Audible Egg Hunt for Children with Blindness and Visual Impairment will be held Saturday, April 13 at Lord Botetourt High School. The event begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Admission is free but participants must register by April 5.
To register, email mkbrown2reps.info or call 540-853-1911.
The organizers have beeping eggs, but not candy-filled eggs or goodies for baskets. After the children have hunted the beeping eggs, they exchange them for baskets filled with Easter goodies.
Anyone wishing to help may donate wrapped candy, small prizes, stickers, loose change, etc. They also can use small toys, chocolate bunnies, stickers, books, etc. Some children cannot have sugar, so items without candy or sugar are needed too. They are needed by April 1. Call 853-1911.
