Ernie and Sandy Hutchens of Buchanan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 17.
Clarence Ernest Hutchens and Sandra Lee Ramsey were married on that date in 1969 in First Baptist Church in their hometown of Staunton.
They have two children, Melissa and husband Daniel Barger, and Diron and wife Michelle Hutchens; and seven grandchildren whom they truly love, and will be great-grandparents in August. They love to travel and were given a hot air balloon ride anniversary present, which both will enjoy. They are members of Buchanan Presbyterian Church, own Sandra’s Marking Company (SanMarCo) in Buchanan and are an asset to the community.
They celebrated their 50th with family and friends at The Barn at Back Creek on May 11.
