The official online calendar of events for Botetourt County’s 250th Anniversary Celebration is now live.
“The co-chairs of the Sestercentennial Committee have been working to secure dates for events occurring during the anniversary year and have compiled them on the calendar site,” the county said when it announced that the site was live.
The calendar will be updated regularly, so citizens are encouraged to check the site for newly added events on a regular basis.
Additionally, the website will be used to announce upcoming planning meetings and other opportunities.
“The committee hopes this 2020 calendar of Botetourt County events will entice both residents and visitors to explore the many and varied historical, cultural, genealogical, educational, religious, athletic, and scenic events and places of our beautiful county,” Donna Vaughn, one of the co-chairs for the Sestercentennial Committee, said.
