The James River High School gym was converted into a concert venue for Nashville Night with Matthew Ramsey and four other songwriters last year. Old Dominion’s band crew transformed the gym the night of the event and had the gear dismantled and loaded back in a tractor-trailer right after the concert.

Matthew Ramsey returns to Buchanan Saturday, Sept. 28, with award-winning songwriters Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, Trevor Rosen and Matt Jenkins for Nashville Night in Buchanan.  The show starts at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 5:30. Come early to take advantage of the T-shirt sales and raffle items such as concert tickets, signed CDs and guitar.

All proceeds will go to The Ramsey Foundation. The foundation was created by Matthew Ramsey to provide resources to organizations in rural communities, to help meet daily life needs as well as the enrichment of cultural arts.

This year, the Mission and Outreach Committee at Buchanan Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a food drive for the BAMA Food Pantry. Canned goods can be brought that evening and everyone making a donation will be given a chance for a $100 cash prize donated by Bank of Botetourt.

There are still tickets available at eventbrite.com. Search for “Nashville Night in Buchanan.”
