The Botetourt County Board of Supervisors voted to approve the fiscal year 2021 budget for Botetourt County Public Schools last Tuesday.
The total for budget totals $59,389,315.
The Botetourt County School Board approved the budget on May 7 prior to its going to the Board of Supervisors.
The fiscal year 2021 budget represents a three percent or $206,822 decrease from the fiscal year 2020 budget, which was $59,596,137.
By law, the budget had to be approved by May 15.
