The Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce announced that in honor of the Botetourt Chamber Golf Classic being held on June 25, Food Lion is donating $500 gift cards to four area food banks.
“We’re proud to hold an event that benefits the chamber and also brings much needed resources to our community,” the chamber said in a statement. “Thank you, Food Lion, for your generous donations.”
The following food banks will each receive a $500 gift card: Botetourt Food Pantry, BAMA Food Pantry in Buchanan, Springwood Baptist Food Pantry also in Buchanan, and the Troutville Baptist Food Pantry.
