Pancho Mexican Restaurant announced last Tuesday via its Facebook page that an employee at its Daleville location had tested positive for COVID-19.
The post noted that the employee had not worked at the restaurant during the week leading up to the announcement.
“We want to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep our employees and patrons safe,” the post said. “Rest assured all the employees at Pancho Daleville will be tested as well. We have closed Pancho Daleville starting immediately today (June 2) until all the test are completed. Once our employees have negative tests, we will set a date to re-open. We will be having the whole restaurant professionally cleaned, disinfected and sanitized.
“We want to be honest with our patrons and staff and we will continue to update every one of the status of Pancho Daleville. We hope you all understand our decision and continue to be safe. Please stay safe, follow the necessary guidelines, and we look forward to serving everyone in the future. Thank you all for your continued support,” the post said.
The post also noted that its Vinton location has not been impacted by the situation at its Daleville location.
