Botetourt County Fire and EMS first responders, including members of the Botetourt County Special Operations Team, responded to an unresponsive person who collapsed on a Roaring Run trail while hiking with a group.
Tiffany Nicely, who identified herself as the individual’s wife on the Botetourt County Department of Fire & EMS’ Facebook page, indicated that her husband suffered four seizures due to high blood sugar. No further information was available as to the individual’s status following his being airlifted from the site.
