American Legion Post 240 will conduct its monthly meeting on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at the VFW building at the corner of Country Club Road and US 22, Daleville. Social hour is from 6-7 p.m. The official meeting starts and 7 p.m. and usually lasts one hour. All honorably discharged veterans who live in Botetourt County are encouraged to attend.
