The Virginia Tech football team remained undefeated after two games with a 38-31 win at Duke last Saturday, but the University of Virginia fell to 1-1 with a 41-23 loss at Clemson against the top-ranked Tigers. Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence (16), expected to be the top pick in the 2021 NFL draft, threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns against the Cavaliers while the Tigers’ Andrew Booth (23) went high to deny Virginia’s Lavel Davis Jr. This Saturday, Tech is at North Carolina and the Hoos are back home to host NC State.
