Michael William Reese, 60, of Roanoke and Vinton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
He was born on December 29, 1959 in Baltimore, Md. Michael graduated from William Byrd High School and Virginia Western Community College.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy G. Reese, and grandparents, Bill “PaPa” Grubbs and Ruth “NaNa” Grubbs.
Michael is survived by his wife, Carol C. Reese; son, Matthew Stump (Jordan); two grandsons, Brody and Garrett Stump; sister, Vickie R. Rookstool (Stanley); aunt, Betty Jean Dalton (Roy); and many cousins and friends.
The family wishes to thank CICU at Lewis-Gale Medical Center for their care.
Friends will be received by the family from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Roanoke Salvation Army and to the Roanoke Rescue Mission.
