Eunice Lucille St. Clair, 99 of Troutville, slipped away quietly to her heavenly home Sunday, November 8, 2020.

She is joyously together again with her beloved Ma, Elizabeth, and Pa, Daniel St. Clair; husband, Richard Albert St.Clair; and daughter, Martha St. Clair Campbell. Additionally, she was preceded in death by siblings, Russell, Rufus, Lee, Norman, Lois, Mozelle, and Elizabeth.

Lucille was born September 3, 1921 and often told her children she was going to live to be a 100. “Mama, 99 rounds to 100, so in your children’s eyes: You did it!” Had COVID-19 not invaded your tired, aged body, there is no doubt we would have had you here with us many more years.

Lucille was the happiest when in the company of family and friends.  She was a gracious host to any and all who dropped by for a visit.  She lovingly welcomed everyone into her home with, “Can I get you anything to eat or drink?” She enjoyed taking care of others and did so countless times by sitting with sick relatives and friends while meeting their needs.

Lucille treasured her time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews whom she loved beyond measure.

She is survived by her daughters and their spouses; Mary and Don Atkinson, Eunice and JB Campbell, Susie and Eddie Tallmadge; and her son, Richard St. Clair; 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; much loved former son-in-law, Robert Linkenhoker Sr.; many nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Margie and Frank Overbay; and her brother, Thomas St. Clair.

Lucille will be laid to rest by her husband’s side in the family cemetery. Due to COVID-19, memorial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, Pa. 18901.

Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.rader-funeralhome.com.
