The Botetourt Kiwanis Club decided at its most recent meeting to distribute Kroger and Food Lion gift cards in place of its traditional project of taking food to Botetourt families at Thanksgiving and Christmas. The cards will be left with the Botetourt Food Pantry.
The Restaurant of the Week project continues with the Foot of the Mountain being recognized this week. The Business of the Week is Penelope’s Shop in Daleville. These businesses, like all small businesses, have suffered due to the governor’s restrictions connected to COVID-19. The Kiwanians encourage their neighbors to patronize the Restaurant and Business of the Week.
