Emma Marie Chambers Bryant, 78, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her son, Roy G. “Pad” Bryant III. Mrs. Bryant retired as a custodian for Breckinridge Elementary School in Fincastle.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Roy Glenvar Bryant Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Mickey Helms of Buchanan; daughter, Savanna Barrack of Idaho; grandchildren, Santana Helms, Anna Helms, Dixie, JJ, and William Barrack; great-grandchild, Lily Wymer; five siblings; numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Ernie Chambers.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon, Tuesday, December 22, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, with Pastor Mason Jordan officiating. Interment was in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke. The family received friends Monday December 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
