Breckinridge Elementary held its school level spelling bee on January 19. Eight fifth grade students participated in the bee, and it came down to a fierce competition between Sawyer Lucas and Nolan Linthicum. After 23 rounds between just these two boys, Sawyer came out the winner and will represent Breckinridge at the district level bee which will be held February 10 at CAMS.
